Question: Are you getting people's permission to use their reviews on BoyWiki or can you show that they are licensed  free to use? That needs to be indicated in some way. That could be copyright infringement and possibly plagiarism unless they are excerpts and properly sourced. :We are a non-profit organization, and part of our activities involve research and scholarship, commentary, criticism, etc. If amazon.com objects to use of the reviews, they can ask for them to be removed, but BoyWiki still may not be required to remove them due to the fair use provisions. ::When I took over as curator of BoyWiki, Fair Use on BoyWiki was completely prohibited. I have lessened those restrictions somewhat see [[BoyWiki:Fair use policy]]. However, we still do not want to use other people work without their permission if they have not made it free to use under GNU Free Documentation License, the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike License , or other similar license. :: I understand your concerns, though it seems to me that BoyWiki used images from Wikipedia that may have been (I said, ''may'' have been) used under the Fair Use doctrine, and this was ''before'' you became curator.
:: BoyWiki also contains many older articles (articles created before you became curator) which contain quotations from publications, etc, and which were used without any permissions being granted--they were used under the Fair Use doctrine. No regard has ever been given to whether or not those people would "want their work used on BoyWiki".
:: It seems to me that we are talking about ''the same thing'' here. And BoyWiki has no need to worry about any legal liabilities: if a properly authorized person complains about something on BoyWiki being "some kind of violation of something or other" then BoyWiki can then simply remove the (so-called) "offensive material" (just as MElf has done on BoyChat).
