::*You should always start out with the most general category and progress to more specific as naturally indicated. In other words, starting out with "Category:English poets from London in 1910" is too specific unless you have several others (a grouping) that fit into that category. In this case, they should go into Category:Poets which would be a subcategory of Category:authors and well as perhaps Category:Poetry which would be a subcategory of Category:Literature etc... --[[User:Etenne|Etenne]] ([[User talk:Etenne|talk]]) 14:00, 20 April 2015 (UTC) | ::*You should always start out with the most general category and progress to more specific as naturally indicated. - 3-12-15 - We need to start placing the articles from Category Encyclopedia into subcategories. The only pages that should remain in the category itself are those that do not fit into a subcategory of their own (as of yet). If you are working on one particular area of study/interest, please add top general category for that subject and later we can go back and add the pages to other subcategories as appropriate or as naturally indicated. Example. General ...Art -> European art -> French art -> Parisian artists. Specific
- Some of the current subcategories may be moved to a new more general top level subcategory where indicated.

- Category:Encyclopedia is a top level category and should only contain sub-categories. --Etenne (talk) 13:19, 14 March 2015 (UTC)
- You should always start out with the most general category and progress to more specific as naturally indicated. --Etenne (talk) 14:00, 20 April 2015 (UTC)
