Politics (from Greek: Πολιτικά, politiká, 'affairs of the cities') is a word to describe actions of the government of a country or how good decisions should be made, based on a group of people. When talking about politics, there are usually two directions: Left and Right, although center and syncretic are also separate directions. Among the left, right, center and syncretic belong certain ideologies. From the left it is communism, socialism, anarchism, syndicalism and progressivism. Right-wing includes capitalism, conservatism, monarchism, Fascism, and Nazism (The latter two are controversial among right-wing people, who prefer to see Fascism and Nazism as left-wing ideologies). Liberalism is generally seen as a left-wing ideology, although Marxists (Certain communists) and Europeans see it more as right-wing. For example, centrist ideologies include social democracy. Syncretic ideologies are National-Bolshevism, socialconservatism or national-liberalism.
There are two major political parties in the United States: the Republican Party[1] and the Democratic Party[2]. The former is seen as "right" and the latter as "left".
Viewpoints
In general, the right is for conservation (conversion) and the left is for change (progression). While these definitions are very, very vague, other people give different definitions for left and right, for example that the right is for the elite and the left is for the common people. Right-wing stances include traditional gender roles, small government, strict immigration, and harsh penalties against criminals. Leftist views are greater government, a welfare state, fair wages and fair punishments against criminals.
Relationship with pedophilia
Traditionally, (far) right-wing people have been against sexual minorities such as homosexuals and for the oppression of the opposite sex. For a very, very long time, homosexuals, women and other types of minorities have been discriminated against and stigmatized by mainly right-wing governments. With the rise of progressive movements, all of these have become much less, especially in Western countries. Based on this information, it can be stated that (extreme) right-wing people are also against pedophilia and (extreme) left-wing people are in favor of it. This assumption is mainly supported by the fact that the Sexual Revolution of the 1960s and the progressive 1970s were especially good for pedophiles and paedosexuals. Despite this, there are plenty of leftists and far-left communists who are very strongly against pedophiles and would rather have them dead!
Yet in history it was mainly left-wing parties that were in favor of pedosexuality: Legalization of child pornography and abolition of the age of consent laws.
Political parties in favor of pedophilia
Below is a list of political parties that once fought for change for pedophiles:

- PSP (Pacifistische Socialistische Partij), a pacifist, socialist party from 1957 to 1990.
