A summary of technical restrictions in BoyWiki and its MediaWiki software. Adapted from Meta-Wiki.

Case-sensitivity of the first character

BoyWiki article names are case-sensitive, with the exception of the first character. (Outside the main namespace, the first character following the namespace prefix is case-insensitive.) The entire namespace prefix is case-insensitive. For example, links to BoyWiki:Technical restrictions and boywiki:technical restrictions refer to the same article, while BoyWiki:Technical Restrictions would refer to a different article.

The canonical form (the official, permanently stored form) is with a capital.

Note that if a colon occurs after the namespace prefix, the first following character is not case insensitive. That is, Template:H:Interwiki linking and Template:H:interwiki linking are distinguished.
