Pokemon was an unusually controversial BoyChat poster. Within days of his first appearance in January 2001 he launched a long and bitter campaign against the administration of BoyChat. After the Great Outage had passed, Pokemon was noted to have brought all the old arguments to the table within hours of BoyChat being available online again. His most notable action may be the attempted "recall vote" of then-webmaster Ford Prefect, which backfired hilariously, causing Pokemon to leave the board for a few weeks.
