Today's featured image  Beggar boys eating grapes and melon / Bartolomé Esteban Murillo. – Between circa 1645 and circa 1655. – Oil on canvas ; 146 × 104 cm. – (Munich, Germany : Alte Pinakothek ; 605). Bartolomé Esteban Murillo was a Spanish Baroque painter. Although he is best known for his religious works, Murillo also produced a considerable number of paintings of contemporary women and children. His work Beggar boys eating grapes and melon is housed at The Alte Pinakothek which is an art museum situated in the Kunstareal in Munich, Germany. It is one of the oldest galleries in the world and houses one of the most famous collections of Old Master paintings.
