2013 Free Spirits fundraiser
At the end of May/beginning of June, 2013, it came to light that Free Spirits was over a year behind in paying its hosting costs to its web host. An adhoc committee was put together by Newport News, kabouter, Etenne, and Connor and was later joined by representatives of the various Free Spirits resources along with representatives from the web host.
Starting in mid-June, a fundraiser was held and enough money was raised to pay what was owed and for Free Spirits to continue into 2014. The largest part was donated by participants of the Jungsforum with the participants of BoyChat coming in second.
