I'm a bit concerned with some of the articles you're posting. I don't believe that boywiki should become a BL version of wikisposure. There are several articles which have statements in them which could be considered defamatory and I'd rather not go down that road. Can you hold off on posting articles until we can discuss this further? --Bigham 05:57, 11 August 2009 (GMT) | I'm a bit concerned with some of the articles you're posting. :The articles in question are basically the ones that point out wikipedia anti-ped editors and the like. I will present a list of the articles that might be deleted before they're deleted. --Bigham 23:34, 14 August 2009 (GMT) | :The articles in question are basically the ones that point out wikipedia anti-ped editors and the like. Having been the one who granted ImaginaryBoy permission to copy NewgonWiki articles with due attribution, I'm slightly concerned at the way they have been used here. For example, the stub articles on Wikipedia editors have been copied. These articles are totally inappropriate for BoyWiki, and will likely leech page views from articles that better serve its purpose.
What I would rather see is a selective exchange of material from NewgonWiki to BoyWiki (permitted by administrators) and vice versa (permitted by license). This would be better controlled by a dedicated exchange project page (http://newgon.com/wiki/NewgonWiki:Mirror_Project) which advises editors to vet material that may be unsuitable for the other site. the use of a project page that lists categories and articles also ensures that updates to pages on other Wikis and new articles can be used at a future date, at the exclusion of articles that have been mirrored more recently.
Of the material residing NewgonWiki, none of it is likely to be defamatory, but BoyWiki should avoid making claims about persons they have no interest in. NewgonAdmin 11:08, 16 August 2009 (GMT) |

NewgonAdmin 11:08, 16 August 2009 (GMT)
