In the beginning of January 2016, a number of groups came forward including Reform Sex Offender Laws, Inc and California Reform Sex Offender Laws Organization to oppose the bill H.R.515 [1] known as the International Megan's Law. In an editoral in the Washington Post, David Post compared the law to Nathaniel Hawthorne's, The Scarlet Letter and "Hitler and the Holocaust" and the roundup of the Jews and the infamous “yellow star,” [2]
