L.I.E. is a 2001 independent film about Howie played by Paul Franklin Dano, a 15-year-old boy and his friendship with a street hustler named Gary played by Billy Kay .The title is an acronym for the Long Island Expressway. The film was written by renouned author and poet Stephen Ryder and directed by Michael Cuesta, who has said that the film is about exploring sexuality.
