- Netflix’s show (available October 22) about teens fighting demons with magical keys is back, but Locke and Key’s second season makes some big changes. The pace is faster, the tone is darker, and with that, it loses some of the magic that made the show so interesting in the first place.

The modern reimagining of the classic 1960s sci-fi series, set 30 years in the future, follows the Robinson family who have been selected to help colonise space. When they’re ripped off course however from an accident, they’re forced to work together to survive in an alien environment far from their original destination.

Creel has been imprisoned in a psychiatric hospital since his family was violently murdered in the 1950s, which Creel blamed on a vengeful demon.
