BoyWiki:Requests for file uploads

Only sysops and uploaders on BoyWiki have access to upload files. Therefore, this procedure has been set up to allow regular users to suggest files for uploading. BoyWiki users may also submit new images via email for consideration.
Instructions
Users
Provide: (1) a URL for an image that you would like an authorized file uploader to upload; (2) a proposed filename; (3) a proposed licensing tag; (4) a proposed upload comment; and (5) your signature (~~~~).
Sysops
Review each item and mark either {{Done}} or {{Rejected}}. In the case of a rejection, provide a brief rationale (e.g. "Out of project scope").

- Why limit this to a restriction on pdf's? Downloading any kind of information, in any format, may violate copyright laws somewhere? Do you see what I mean? The fact is that any time you view something on your computer screen you have already downloaded it to your computer (to the RAM memory chips of your computer). That's a fact! But if you print out something which appears on your screen -- something which is under copyright -- and then you try to sell copies of it, that is violating copyright law! Viewing something on your screen which happens to be copyrighted (which many browsers will allow in the case of a .PDF file, even though the actual .PDF file is not directly downloaded and saved to your hard disk - it only remains in the volatile computer RAM, just like web pages do) is perfectly legal.
