Because it seemed more like personal observations/reflections/opinions than an article. It can be hard to draw the line between an article and an essay, but I felt this was far enough along the continuum toward the latter that it was in danger of being deleted unless moved. You can move it back if you want, but I think it should be reworked first so that you're citing sources, etc. Lysander (talk) 16:21, 23 March 2015 (UTC)
