Sadvocate

Sadvocate is a term for child advocate emphasizing the negative connotations they carry with boylovers.
The term stands for self-appointed advocate and was coined by the BoyChat poster Kabouter in the mid 1990s as an alternative to child advocate (or CA). In those days, BoyChat was often overwhelmed by people who called themselves "child advocates". They would post repetitive, flaming messages for prolonged periods of time in order to make the board less useful to boylovers who wanted to participate there. Additionally, some of these advocates would post personal information (much of it inaccurate) about BoyChat posters on other websites in order to intimidate them and the community.
