BoyMoments
BoyLovers usually find reading BoyMoments to be very uplifting to their spirits (something lacking in today's world).
Many post BoyMoments on BoyChat. It would be easy to ask permission of the poster to reproduce their BoyMoments on BoyWiki.
A "BoyMoment" section could then be created on BoyWiki.
And, as added benefits, this would:
- encourage BoyLover's to become BoyWiki editors
- increase readership of BoyWiki User4 (talk) 17:36, 7 April 2016 (UTC)
- In general, I don't have a problem with adding a BM section under Category:Life however it can't degenerate to a nifty archive sort of thing... when I say BoyWiki needs to stay PG. I mean it. --Etenne 18:04, 7 April 2016 (UTC)
- Haven't you noticed that one of the rules at BoyChat prohibits too-explicit discussions of sexual activity? And that the BoyChat BoyMoments are generally quite "sanitized"? And that you have the ability to monitor all posts at BoyWiki to "keep them clean"?
- Given the above, how about instituting what I have suggested above? User4 (talk) 20:55, 7 April 2016 (UTC)
Important point for keeping discussions at Agora tidy
Wiki discussion pages, including such pages as Agora (which isn't technically a discussion page since it ostensibly has its own discussion page - and so does all the sub pages that get added with the start of new discussions) have embedded discussion layout to enhance readability. The way this layout is supposed to appear every other comment is delineated using a different background shade and a thin border line.
Take a look at this discussion which I have reformatted twice in order to fix the result of the discussion participants adding additional blank lines between thir comments. Contrast that correctly formatted page with these to versions of the same discussion, prior to my [first] and [second] intervening to clean up the page.
The cluttered layout emerges as a result of users adding blank lines between comments. Don't add empty lines! Also, if you want distinct paragraphs within your comment, use the same number of colon signs prefacing the would-be blank line as you are using for the text-filled parts of the comment. __meco (talk) 19:59, 7 April 2016 (UTC)
- Your comment:
- (Fixing sub-page header not appearing due to initial discussion having been initiated with incorrect procedure by User4)
- ...surprises me, especially by the intensity of its accusative tone. Perhaps there is something that you do not understand about the workings of BoyWiki, and, by seeking to better inform yourself, you would then be more knowledgeable about what the actual "problem" is? What do you think? User4 (talk) 21:05, 7 April 2016 (UTC)
@ Meco--have you figured out what the "problem" is yet? User4 (talk) 18:17, 8 April 2016 (UTC)
- Your comment refers to this edit by me yesterday. I'm sorry if you sense any aggression, which certainly is not intended, in my pointing out that you consistently keep initiating Agora discussions without using the "Add a message" link that is prominently displayed at the top of the Agora page, consequently creating subpages where the necessary date/link header is missing, a discrepancy which further makes it potentially very difficult for people to participate in those discussions (since the subpage then will appear on the Agora page transcluded under the wrong date, however, clicking on that date still will not access that discussion). Since i first pointed this out to your on you user talk page a couple of weeks ago, all but one Agora subpages have been initiated by you. The one not initiated by you was initiated by Etenne with the correct header formatting in place. All of the four subpages initiated by you (1 2 3 4)
- Your sentence starting "Perhaps there is…" seems grammatically and semantically flawed and I'm unable to interpret it.
- I believe I have sufficiently identified the cause of this recurring problem. If this remains unclear to you or if you disagree with my assessment, I'm definitely open to discussing the issue until a resolution arises. __meco (talk) 18:30, 8 April 2016 (UTC)

- I see that you still have not figured out what the "problem" is. And your accusations continue:
- ...you consistently keep initiating Agora discussions without using the "Add a message" link that is prominently displayed at the top of the Agora page..."
- Are you absolutely certain that the statement you made above is accurate? User4 (talk) 19:22, 8 April 2016 (UTC)
- No, I'm not absolutely certain about that. But it seems very likely. I even tried to create a discussion subpage for today, just to test, and using the prescribed procedure it opened with the requisite date header. I didn't save it though. Could you detail for me here step-by-step how you begin a new Agora discussion? You may even do as I did, create a subpage for today, April 8, and save it. Let's take it from there! __meco (talk) 19:35, 8 April 2016 (UTC)
