If you have found this site and you're not a boylover, hopefully you will have an open mind. A will to try to understand that there are others who are slightly different than you in certain areas. A will to respect that, because you can never change it.
You think you hear about us in the news all the time. The 'child molesters'. Those monsters. I won't hesitate a second to agree. Any person molesting an innocent child to fulfil his own sexual desires, taking and not giving, is indeed a monster.
That's why the term 'boylover' has been invented. A boylover has strong feelings for a boy or boys in general. He wants (and needs) to spend lots of time with them. He wants to be there for them, talk to them, answer their questions, laugh, jump and run with them. He wants to mentor their way into adulthood. He wants them to be happy and lead a happy, healthy life. Truth is, he looks up to them, he adores them.
The sad thing is that there are some who grow up to learn that the feelings they have are bad. They are told they're bad people, so they act like bad people. The results are (sometimes) deeply tragic.
The average boylover though, cannot identify themselves with such behaviour. There are, of course, those who have a more liberal view on children's sexuality, but hurting a child is never a real boylover's intention.
I hope I have enlightened you a bit. Remember, there are as many kinds of boylovers as there are boys!
