Gil Hardwick is an anthropologist,and author of several novels
Graduated with Honours in Anthropology from the University of Western Australia in 1989, majoring in Aboriginal Studies, followed by 3+ years with the Center for Irish Studies, Murdoch University. Graduated again with Honors in Literature, UWA. Currently doing a Masters in Criminal Justice with the Center for Crime Research, UWA School of Law.
Formally, early career in mechanical, electrical, electronics trades before going into computing as a major hobby and extra income. Informally, a lifetime knocking around the Australian bush, running into all sorts of interesting situations and even more interesting characters. Become an author after years of academic writing just sort of happened. My theses inevitably end up as fiction. [1]
