Tim: It's been more than 40 years since I met Robert. I've always been attracted
to men, even before that. 'Course, nobody talked about it in those days.
Men who liked men were called 'sick' or 'perverts'.

I'd just got back from overseas, when this couple invited me over for Thanksgiving
dinner. I remember it like it was yesterday. I walked up to the door and
rang the bell. It weren't long before the door opened and there stood Timmy,
all decked out in his best suit. He had dark brown hair that
would always get in his eyes. And, when he smiled, it was kinda crooked.
The right side of his mouth would kinda lift higher than the left.
Well, sir, right then I knew I was in trouble. We sat next to each other
during dinner, and I noticed that he kept looking at me while his father
and I talked to each other.
After dinner we played "Aggrevation", that board game where you
use marbles as pieces. Tim and I were partners against his mother and father.
We made a good team, too!
I don't recall how many games we played that night. But, 'round about midnight,
I started to thinking about that 3-hour drive back to the base, and told
Timmy's father that I'd better be hitting the road, while I could still
keep my eyes open.
That was when Timmy's father suggested that I spend the weekend with them.
I had a four-day pass, so I didn't have to be back until Sunday. He said
that they were planning on going fishing the next day at Chubber's lake.
It turned out that Timmy had bunk-beds in his room. He told me I could have
the bottom bunk. I teased him, and said "I hope you don't wet the bed!"
He said, "Naw, I'm much too old for that!"
Not wanting him to see me in a somewhat aroused state, I quickly got under
the covers. Obviously, though, Timmy wasn't so shy. He stripped down to
his scivies and just stood there, asking me if I liked fishing, and stuff
like that. He didn't seem to notice (or care) that he was somewhat aroused.
I was having trouble concentrating on what he was saying, when all of a
sudden he started to ask me a bunch of questions. Was I married? Did I have
a girlfriend? Was I seeing someone? I just answered "no" to all
his questions, without wanting to go into too much detail.
You said that I shouldn't go into detail as far as sex went, so I won't.
The first night, after going to the bathroom, he crawled into bed next to
me. I asked him what he was doing, and he said he "forgot". He
said he usually slept in the bottom bunk. I was kinda afraid, but I didn't
want him to leave, so I told him it was OK.
Then, he just snuggled up close to me, and...went to sleep! It was some
time before I could, though!
The next day we went fishing. Timmy's father kept commenting about my "shadow".
Timmy never left my side all day!
That night, Timmy didn't even pretend. He just crawled in next to me without
a by-yer-leave! He put his arms around me and kissed me full on the mouth!
We didn't get a lot of sleep that night. I was still pretty much a "virgin",
but it appeared that Timmy had "been around the block" as they
say. Don't get me wrong, we didn't do anything like anal sex, or anything.
But we did lots of other stuff.
The next day we were like siamese twins. Timmy didn't leave my side for
an instant. "Looks like you made quite an impression on the boy",
his father said, smiling.
Saturday night was about the same as Friday, except that, I guess knowing
I was leaving the next day, Timmy did a lot more "cuddling".
I had to leave Sunday evening, so's I could get back to the base. I could
see that Timmy had tears in his eyes as he stood in the doorway and waved
goodbye to me. I must admit that my vision was somewhat blurred, as well.
I tried to visit Timmy (and his family) as often as I was in town. But,
before too long, I ended up getting transferred and eventually lost track
of Timmy and his folks. I never knew what happened to him until I ran into
him at a party awhile back. It's good to see him doing so well for himself!
Overall opinion of the experience: 'I will never forget it.'
Opinion on Intergenerational Relationships: 'OK, so far as both people know what's going on.'
If he had to do it all over again: 'I wouldn't change a thing, except keeping in touch.'
Other, similar experiences: 'I've shared my bed with quite a few young fellas in my time, but I think Timmy was the youngest.'
