Eric Angevine
Eric Neil Angevine is an Oklahoma State University architecture professor who was convicted of possession of child pornography. Angevine had attempted to erase the child pornography, but a computer expert used special technology to retrieve the data that had remained latent in the computer's storage. The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit ruled the pornographic images seized by police were not within Professor Angevine's immediate control because he had attempted to delete them.[1]
In 2007, attempts were made to get Angevine fired from his job at the Habana Inn in Oklahoma City.[2] As of 2015, Angevine operated a newsletter ("BL", or Broadcast Letter) for incarcerated sex offenders. It includes photos of young boys, descriptions of movies in which young boys are featured, and other aspects of boylover culture.
