On August 24, 2023, it was announced that a new boylove magazine is going to be launched on September 15th by some of the former editors of Ethos. The new magazine will be called Fawnlet Magazine.
The term faunlet is credited to Vladimir Nabokov, who in his 1955 book Lolita wrote: "When I was a child and she was a child, my little Annabel was no nymphet to me; I was her equal, a faunlet in my own right..." (Lolita p17-18). The word Faunlet denotes, "a young sexually attractive boy".
The magazine will feature poetry, art, news, interviews, and stories, all centered around boys and boylove. Fawnlet aims to provide something for every boylover to enjoy. It is intended to give a voice to boylovers from across the BL community.
