Talk:Christian Boylove Forum
Hey guys,
It wasn't an offer to host CBLF on FPC that was the impetus for its creation. There was strong FSC sentiment against the creation of the board. The tide turned after I waded in in support of the proposal and the vote of the committee came out in favor of hosting the site — though the vote was not unanimous.

- Was CBF actually hosted on FPC at any time? If so, it should be at least mentioned in the article (if only briefly).

Hi Asch,
Unfortunately, I don't remember with any real precision. My guess is that it was not, as such as arrangement would not have fit the hosting strategies we used at the time. Although, considering the rather forceful opposition to the board, putting it on FPC could have been part of a compromise. Perhaps Bach would remember better than I would.

Christian Consultations
I've changed:
"In 2001 the event was renamed Christian Consultation on Adult Attraction to Minors in order to include girllovers."
To: ". . . to include girllovers and other minor-attracted adults who did not identify as boylovers."
To quote from Bach's official history of the gatherings:
"In the fall of 2001, it was decided to open the Consultation to Girl Lovers and others who may not feel comfortable at CBF."
http://www.cblf.org/gathering.htm
I proposed the name change in 2001 because we'd had a minor-attracted adult from the sexual recovery community take part in the consultation in 2000. Bach liked the idea because the name would be more inclusive of girl-lovers.
(If anyone hates the term "minor-attracted adults," feel free to change it, but I couldn't think of any other term that would work in that context.)

I was reading over this article after its recent edit and I chuckled at a memory that some others here might find amusing as well. At the first CBLF RL get together, I cooked and helped serve for the group. I can't remember WHAT I cooked now but I do remember scrambling to plate everything and get it all organized. LOL
If you don't know why that ought to be funny, don't worry. Some people will chuckle along with me. :-)
