Wow! Only a €5000 fine! Gee, maybe I should move to Germany! Not that I would then download porn, of course... but just to be around those rational, sensible, open-minded Germans.

In the Axis of Evil countries (especially the U.S.) he could have been sent to prison for life! (depending on the quantity of images downloaded, and the jurisdiction he resided in).
