Undercover DEA (drug-enforcement agents) have been known to attempt to arrest each other in undercover "sting" operations--which has even led to reported shooting incidences involving one undercover agent opening fire on another undercover agent!

What do you mean you're a cop? I'm a cop! Now drop that gun now, or I'll open fire!

The likelihood of engaging in conversation in a "children's chat room" with a government agent is quite high.

In the undercover world of "pedophile on-line stings," government agents from different jurisdictions have been known to "groom" each other for weeks--or months--in "children's chat rooms," only to discover each other's real identity only when the (presumed) pedophile "perpetrator" shows up to meet the "victim" (the other government agent) in a prearranged real-life meeting!
